Temecula Paver Patio
Landmark Pavers just completed a Temecula paver patio and paver pool deck. We used a dublin cobble paving stone from Belgard in the toscana color. Dublin cobble is a 4 piece modular paver with a flat top that has been tumbled. It added a very rustic look to the project. One of the reasons that the customer chose to use a dublin cobble is that it accented his existing stack stone wall.
Some of the difficulties that had to be addressed on this pavestone project:
1. The homeowner wanted to pave underneath his existing air conditioning unit. Usually this would add a significant cost to the project because the A.C. unit often needs to be disconnected and reconnected by a licensed professional HVAC contractor. However, we were able to use tow straps, a come along, and the homeowners patio structure to hoist up the unit just enough to lay paving stones underneath the unit. This saved the homeowner about $500.00
2. Another challenge we had to address was, demolishing the existing concrete pool deck without damaging the stack stone veneer wall. What made this particularly difficult, was the fact that the concrete slab was poured in place after the stackstone was installed. So the concrete was literally integrated with the bottom face of the veneer. The only way to save the stack stone was to be careful and to take it slow. Thanks to a fantastic and patient crew they did a great job and totally saved the stack stone.
Landmark Pavers wants to sincerely thank George K. for the business. We really appreciate it. It is truly a blessing to have another satisfied customer.
